Where did the summer go?

This poor blog has been neglected the last few weeks, and now it's the end of August!  Just wanted to quickly share a few pics I took for a friend/client way back in July, always up for anything, always great to see them, thanks Kelly :)

Enough Scrapbooking, how about some photos??

This blog has been pretty scrapbooking-focused lately, lots going on in that area for me! I am a bit behind in sharing some recent sessions.

This little beauty I think takes the crown as the sleepiest baby I have ever photographed.  She was just excellent, and if she did wake up she was quickly soothed back to sleep by her doting parents!  6 days old, just amazing!

I made the American Crafts Design Team!!!

This is a scrapbooking dream come true for me, I love this company, everything they do, the bold printed paper, the fun embellishments, the geniusly simple albums, all of it (oh and now they make cardstock!!). With two teenage girls to scrapbook, the American Crafts product is ideal!

I cannot believe my name is up there alongside those other names, some serious creative talent! I feel so very lucky!

Just a little excited in our house......

Emma and her three best friends (Alicia, Kadi and Jana) are on the COVER of the fall issue of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine, and not only is it my photo, it's my layout too!!!!  We all can't wait to see an actual issue, and the girls are practicing their autograph skills, they think they're rock stars :)

August at SCRAP SHOTZ!

The kits at Scrap Shotz just keep getting better and better!  The SEI Poppy line is so gorgeous!!  The colours, the details on the paper, amazing!  While we were in Chicago at CHA we planned for the next few kits, and KT2s (mid month kits) and I am just so excited about it all!!  Here's what I did with the August kit, with so much leftover I could literally create another 6 layouts easy!
