Our Town was kind enough to plant hundreds and hundreds of sunflowers so of course I had to take advantage of this photo opportunity. Emma, Alicia and Jana were keen too...........until they awoke hundreds and hundreds of bumblebees!!! No one was stung, and we did get some fun shots. I have been working on trying to capture the right amount of sun flare - it's tricky but I love it when I get it right! You can see more pics here: SUNFLOWERS

60 minutes and one HUGE bridge later we are literally in a different world. We continue to go back to PEI every summer because it truly is, as their tourism ads suggest, "The Gentle Island". Photo ops aside, it is one of my most favourite places on earth. More pics can be found here: PEI 07
We have had a busy summer! We were lucky enough to spend some time in Chicago last month, visting my uber-host brother who was extremely gracious and accomodating (especially when it came to shopping right Mike?). For someone who loves photography and architecture, this city is it! I still have photos to go through but I've edited some which can be found here I also attended my first CHA show which was larger than life, and met Sandy! for the first time which was great! We had a wonderful time, we cannot thank Uncle Mike enough!
....I love taking pictures. Quite simply, it makes me happy. I especially love working with expectant mothers. It's such a beautiful, special time. S is the epitome of a healthy pregnancy, truly glowing. The album is here And Amelia, she's just a doll. I have taken pictures of Amelia since she was 11 days old, and now at 19 months she's a little firecracker! Thanks for the opportunity guys and I am looking forward to meeting #2!
The new kit at Scrap Shotz! is up, a personal favourite for sure with the new Love Elsie line by KI Memories. This collection is just so much fun!
