World Photography Day

Thank you for all the lovely 'welcome backs' and the nice words about the photos - means a lot.

 
Did you know that today, August 19th, is World Photography Day?

I know for me, photos are so very important. As a scrapbooker, the trendy products will come and go, but the stories and the photos, they're forever.

I also feel peaceful when I'm behind my camera. With all the ups and downs in my life lately, my camera is like a safe haven. I haven't picked it up enough lately, but when I do, it's like spending time with an old friend :)

So grab your camera and celebrate this amazing gift, to be able to capture a moment in time, to see things quite literally from a different angle, and celebrate World Photography Day!

I didn't know about World Photography Day! Very cool, I actually brought my camera to work today, my oldest has an art show this afternoon. So I will certainly be taking pictures today! Have a great Friday Kathy!
