Good morning.
Wow, August 31st. Summer flew by but then again not. I always think of this day as Rebecca's 'fake birthday' because when I was pregnant with her, I had complications, and this was the day I was scheduled to have a c-section and welcome her into the world, but she had other plans - and to this day she's still a planner! Her real birthday is Sept 12.
Wanted to share my (only!) layout in the newest issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today. I'm a bit overdue posting this, but it's a photo and a layout I love, and probably my favourite article to date because these are the photos I love so much, the authentic ones:

I've been asked about the title. It's lyrics from Katy Perry's "California Gurls".
I've also been behind the lens a bit, here are a couple of sneaks - I'll share the shoots when I'm done editing.
Meet Lauren - could you just die?? So petite, so beautiful, love newborns! 2 weeks of perfection.
And the S family. Wow, very entertaining bunch! Not often I shoot all-adult families - what a breeze! Mom wanted all black and whites to go with the whole beach/water theme and I love how they are turning out:

I agree ~ I love that LO & that collection of photos were all fantastic!! The balloons were a beautiful touch & the girls look so genuinely happy :)
And newborns ... seriously, adorable photo ~ she is just precious!! I am due in a few days & this just made me smile :)
And your family shoot ~ that pic is fantastic, as I am sure they all are :)

Always enjoy your layouts and pics, the limey green is perfect for summer. Hope all is well with you, I always get a little "yay, she's posted something when my feed is highlighted!"

Cute layout. I enjoyed how clean the lines are and I also love your photo of the sleeping baby :) so sweet.
